ABOUT THE LIBRARY

             SRI S ANANTHARAMAKRISHNAN  LIBRARY is  Housed in a separate spacious building to cater the needs of the staff and students of SRI PARAMAKALYANI COLLEGE, ALWARKURICHI.

This new Library Block was opened on 11.11.2012 and it functions from the New Library Block with 35000 BOOKS, 60 Journals/ Magazines.     

 

It serves in a fully Automated Environment using AutoLib Software with E-Gates and Surveillance Cameras as the security measure. Students are allowed to take Printout, Xerox, Scan and Lamination are the additional facilities.

Digital Library section has been established for accessing Digital and E-Resources with 

Un-Interrupted Power Supply Support.

Separate Reading Halls for Reference and Journals Reading. 

                                                                                               Established Stack Room with Reading Facility.  

Air Conditioned ICT Based Seminar Hall for Conducting National/State Level Seminar/Workshop/Meetings, Ph.D VIVA are conducted.    

It also extend its features to access from outside college campus for students and staff members through library blog for e-access (WEB-OPAC) using mobile or laptop/desktop with the help of corresponding user ID & Password from their Home/Anywhere
